I haven't post anything for the past few months, so here it is.. Battlefield 4. It's an upcoming first person shooter game, like all Battlefield franchises, it's developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and published by Eletronic Arts. It's a sequel to Battlefield 3 and the 13th installment of the Battlefield series. The game will be released on 29th of October in North America, October 31 for Australia and Novermber 1 for Europe for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 & 4, Xbox 360 and of course, Xbox One.

Battlefield 4 features several small changes compared to its predecessor. The game's heads-up display is much the same, composed of two compact rectangles. The lower left-hand corner features a mini-map and compass for navigation, and a simplified objective notice above it; the lower right includes a compact ammo counter and health meter. The mini-map, as well as the main game screen, shows symbols marking three kinds of entities: blue for allies, green for squadmates, and red/orange for enemies.

Players can now use dual-scoped weapons, including weapons with different firing modes (e.g. single shots, automatic fire). They can also "spot" targets—marking them on the map—for teammates to either suppress or eliminate. In addition, players will have more survival capabilities, such as countering melee attacks at the front and rear, shoot their sidearm while swimming, and diving underwater to avoid enemy detection. The singleplayer campaign will see the player using vehicles to quickly move across the battlefield.

Multiplayer :
Battlefield 4 multiplayer has been confirmed to contain 3 playable factions; U.S.China ( Bloody hell I hate China )  and Russia. Also confirmed is the return of the "Commander Mode" last seen in Battlefield 2142, which gives select players an RTS-like view of the entire map   and the ability to give orders to teammates.

In March 2013, EA Digital Illusions CE denied rumors that female soldiers would be playable in the game. On June 10, 2013, at E3, DICE featured the map "Siege of Shanghai", pitting the People's Liberation Army against the U.S. Marine Corps. The gameplay showcased Commander Mode; new weapons and vehicles; and the "Levolution" gameplay mechanic. The video displays the last of these at various points, including a player destroying a support pillar to trap an enemy tank above it, and a large skyscraper (an in-game objective) collapsing in the center of the map and affecting the surrounding area.So far, the four previous classes from Battlefield 3 appear to be the same—Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon.

Battlefield 4's single-player campaign takes place six years after its predecessor in the year 2020, with the player controlling "Recker", a member of a US special operations squad callsigned "Tombstone". His teammates include squad leader SSgt. Dunn, second-in-command "Irish", and combat medic "Pac". The Battlefield 4 gameplay reveal trailer features footage from the prologue mission "Fishing in Baku", where in Tombstone Squad, carrying vital intelligence, escapes from BakuAzerbaijan with Russian special forces in pursuit. In a recently-revealed mission, "Angry Sea", Tombstone Squad, with another soldier named Kovic replacing Dunn, tries to escape from a sinking aircraft carrier with more intel, while fighting off Chinese forces. The campaign will also occur in China, involving a hostage rescue mission in Shanghai.

Dead Island: Riptide

Readers, I'm back. Sorry I haven't posted anything in the last, many weeks... Now I am going to talk about a upcoming game called Dead Island: Riptide. You've probably heard the game "Dead Island", it was released two years ago. It ends with the survivors boarding the helicopter and escaped from the island archipelago of Banoi. Dead Island: Riptide is an upcoming action role playing game.

Developed by Techland and published by Deep Silver, set for release in April 2013 (It's this month!!!) for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, & Microsoft Windows. Although described as a spin off, the game story picks up where Dead Island left off. As the 5 survivors arrive on another island which is also in the Banoi Archipelago which is overrun by zombies too.

The trailer shows a couple setting sail in the middle of the sea. Seeing an Australian flag makes me think that they were from Australia, then the camera shows a storm behind then. Then the scene is cut when the couple hold each other's hand, and holding a lighter which has the hotel logo.

The yacht was filled with cooking gas, and propane tanks. The woman shed her tears, and the man wiping it with his thumb . Then the woman said "I love you...". Seeing the windows, they must've been overrun by zombies. The trailer end with them blowing up the yacht.

The Last of Us

Hello I am Ryan, back to review another game called The Last of Us . It's an upcoming survival horror action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog for the Playstation 3 . It was officially revealed on December 10, 2011 during the Spike TV Video Game Awards & is scheduled for a worldwide release on June 14, 2013 as a Playstation 3 exclusive.

The game focuses on 2 survivors, an adult name Joel and a youth name Ellie . They were trekking across post-apocalyptic United States .

Gameplay

The last of us uses third-person view. The player will control of Joel, while elle will be controlled by the AL. The game involve gun fighting and melle combat as wel as a cover system. The player will fight off the Infected (a former human) and survivors (human that are not infected) but are hostile towards Joel and Ellie. A new gameplay mechanic is a feature the developers call "dynamic stealth", meaning that there are many different types of strategies and techniques that the player at any given time as they approach a new situation, to which enemies will react differently. Naughty Dog have develop an AL system called "Balance of Power". This new system allows enemies to react realistically to any combat situation they are placed in by taking cover if they see the player, calling for help if they need it and even taking advantages of players weaknesses, such as when Joel runs out of ammunition or when he is being attacked by other enemies.

Plot

The story is set two decades after a cordyceps-type fungus has killed millions, with nature gradually retaking the abandones cities and towns. The survivors are hemmed inside quarantine zones, completely under the heel of the United States military, with order and screening for any Infected being viciously maintained under martial law. Joel, a hardened black-marketeer within one of the quarantine zones, goes through an event which makes him promise an old friend that he will get a young, fourteen year old girl named Ellie, away from the harsh regime to a resistance group known as the Fireflies. They began a journey through the USA, avoiding the Infected, humanoid creatures who sole aim has become spreading the fungal infection. Joel and Ellie also have to avoid scavengers that survive outside the quarantine zones who see Joel and Ellie as their latest prey. Adding to their problems, the military is determined to find Ellie and bring her back under their power.

Development

The game was first teased before the Spike VideO Game Awards on November 29, 2011, with an billboard in Times Square mentioning "a PS3 exclusive you won't believe". Initial trailers showed an apocalyptic event including riots, epidemic, quarantine, and violence, as well as a clip of the BBC's Planet Earth showing ab ant infected with Cordyceps unilateralis, a dangerous parasitic fungus that usually kills insects such as ants. On December 9th, players of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception spotted and in-game reference to the aforementioned trailer with the newspaper headline "scientists are still struggling to understand deadly fungus". At the Spike Video Games Awards, Sony officially unveiled the game, a brand new intellectual property from Naughty Dog, created by a previously unpublicized 80-person Naughty Dog development team. A gameplay trailer, made up of in-game footage, showed a man and a teenage girl fending off other survivors and what appeared to be people with unusual fungal growth before running out into a dilapidated city covered in greenery, reminiscent of the film I am Legend.

Shortly after the unveiling, Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells posted new details of The Last of Us on the Playstation Blog:
Shortly after the unveiling, Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells posted new details of The Last of Us on the PlayStation Blog:

"The Last of Us is a genre-defining experience that blends survival and action elements to tell a character driven take about a modern plague decimating mankind. Nature encroaches upon civilizations, forcing remaining survivors to kill for food, weapons and whatever they can find. Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a brave young teenager who is wise beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of United States."

The announcement confirmed that the new project is being headed by the studio game director Bruce Straley. Former lead designer on Enslaved: Odssey to the West, Mark Richard Davies has been working at Naughty Dog on the game. After Uncharted 2: Among Thieves shipped in 2009, some of the development team from he game formed the team for The Last of Us, while the remainder worked on Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception; The Last of US marks the first time that Naughty DOf has become a two-team studio. It is also the first time the studio has introduced a second new IP in the same hardware generation.

The spike Video Game Awards 2012 officially revealed The Last of Us to be released on May 7, 2013. However SOny and Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann later delayed the release date to June 14, 2013 to give the developers more time to polish up the final game. Instead, a demo of the game will be activated for those players who own God of War: ascension in late May.

I love games with apocalyptic themes, and I am sure when they release the game, lots of people would buy them as this game has won 25 awards in 2012. Thanks for viewing, and Happy Good Friday !

BioShock Infinite

Hello viewers, it's Ryan . And I am going to talk about a new game called BioShock Infinite .
BioShock Infinite is a first-person shooter game and the 3rd installment for the BioShock series . Previously known ad " Project Icarus ", it is being developed by Irrational Games and was released worldwide by Microsoft Windows, Playstation 3 & Xbox 360 platforms on March 26, 2013 . ( 3 days after my Birthday ) . Set in 1912 during the growth of American Exceptionalism, the game's protagonist, former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, is sent to the floating air city of Columbia to find a young woman, Elizabeth, who has been held captive for the last 12 years . Though Booker rescued her, both are pursued by the city's 2 warring factions : The Nativists and Elite founders that strive to keep the city for pure Americans .

Gameplay

Like BioShock and BioShock 2BioShock Infinite is a first-person shooter with role-playing elements similar to the previous two games. As Booker, the player moves about the various structures of Columbia using a grappling hook, a series of railways connecting the buildings called the Skyline, and other transport means to search for Elizabeth. The player will gain weapons which can be used in numerous ways within the environment, including on the Skyline, to defeat enemies; however the player is only able to carry two weapons at any time. Booker gains powers and abilities by using vigors and wearing gear that are found through Columbia, the equivalent of BioShock's plasmids and tonics respectively. Vigors grant activated powers such as telekinesis, electricity manipulation, or animal control (as seen by the manipulation of a flock of crows within the gameplay demo), while selected gear are passive abilities that can improve the player's strength or damage resistance. Vigors require Salt, the equivalent of magic points orBioShock's EVE for powering their abilities. Unlike BioShock in which the player was able to use special Gene Banks to alter the loadout of plasmids and tonics they had, the choice to imbibe a certain vigor is permanent and cannot be changed later in the game, placing emphasis on the consequences of the player's choices throughout the game. With gear, the player only has four available slots, and has to make decisions on which combination of offensive and defensive capabilities work for them. Both vigors and gear will have various upgrade paths; for example, Levine noted that vigors will have alternate-fire capabilities and have up to five different upgrade routes, providing a wider variance of customization options for the player .
Once reunited with Elizabeth, who also has a set of such powers, the player must work together with her to escape Columbia. Elizabeth will sometimes stay out of battle, scavenging the area for ammo, Salt, and other items for the player and toss them to him as needed. Other times she will use her powers to aid the player; for example, Elizabeth can create a localized rainstorm on foes, which the player, as Booker, can then fire upon with an electricity-based attack, electrocuting the foes. The player will not be directly in control of Elizabeth, but instead she will react to the player and the current situation in a manner similar to the AI Director in Left 4 Dead, according to Levine. However, using Elizabeth's powers also harms her, an action compared to the choice of killing or saving the Little Sisters from the previous games.[9] Elizabeth also has the ability to interact with the tears in the fabric of space-time, pulling objects from the other side to use within Columbia, escaping from battle through these, or repairing them. The player will need to protect Elizabeth, but will not need "to babysit and hand-hold" her through the game. Levine has stated about working with Elizabeth in the game that "in no way, shape, or form is this an escort mission", identifying that players reacted negatively to a late-game stage in the original BioShock in which they were tasked to protect a Little Sister.

The Motorized Patriot, one of the game's four Heavy Hitters, wearing a George Washington waxworks face while armed with a peppermill machine gun
Several different human forces are at work opposed to the player's progress within the city, includes forces representing the Founders and the Vox Populi .  Furthermore, the player and Elizabeth are chased by Songbird (sometimes simply referred to as "Him"), who is attempting to snatch Elizabeth from the player after being her guardian and companion for the last twelve years.Four types of larger mechanical enemies created by the Founders, dubbed "Heavy Hitters", act as mini-bosses through the game, demanding new tactics from the player. One type of these are the Handymen, so named for their large porcelain doll-like hands; they are robotic-like monsters housing a human heart and head, with the ability to jump large distances and easily throw the player- and non-player characters alike. A second class are the Motorized Patriots, once used as tour guides for the city, decorated in patriotic colors and wear a wax mask of George Washington, assaulting its foes with a "peppermill" automatic machine gun.The Boys of Silence are men in foppish outfits locked into a metal helmet with giant ears; the humans inside are blind but due to the helmet have super-human hearing, and act as Columbia's security system, requiring the player to choose carefully between stealth and a direct assault, whereupon the Boys can scream to call in back up. Finally, the Siren is a mysterious, completely enshrouded female figure, based on the Spiritualism movement near the end of the 19th century, that can revive defeated foes during combat, requiring the player to decide whether to concentrate attacks on the Siren or the newly-revived enemies. The player will have several options of approaching the Heavy Hitters, such as by using stealth to bypass the encounter, or to hack into the machine and take control of the units.
The Skyline is a rail-based system (originally designed for moving cargo around Columbia but later used for personal transport) similar to the concept found in the Ratchet & Clank games and described by Levine as "a roller coaster, over another roller coaster, over another roller coaster"; players activate a wrist-mounted tool that Booker and enemies wear to jump and hang onto the self-powered tracks. Players can jump onto, off of, and between Skyline tracks at any time, and may face enemies that use the system to attack; the player can use weapons in Booker's free hand to defend the character. The freedom of movement along the Skyline allows for several varieties of combat, including flanking, cover, and area-of-effect attacks through creative uses of the system. Levine considered the Skyline to introduce new options in combat in the same manner that the use of jetpacks in Tribes or the vehicles in Halo had done, which in that case had helped made those games unique entries in the shooter fields.
Irrational Games has stated that the game's set pieces are not heavily scripted; this statement was made in response to reaction to a gameplay preview video released during the week of September 21, 2010, which, within ten minutes, demonstrated numerous elements of the game. The development team called the game's pacing "like BioShock 1", and that while there will be some scripted set pieces, the developers want the player to be able to explore Columbia at their own pace. Unlike Jack or Delta, the silent protagonists of BioShock and BioShock 2 respectively, and who are guided by radio commands from a third party, Booker will be a vocal character, with dialogue designed to aid the player in leading Booker to complete his mission. Players in Infinite will revisit areas from earlier in the game, in the same manner they did in BioShock. However, to create a better narrative, the Irrational team borrowed ideas from Batman: Arkham Asylum, a similar open-world game where players, on return to previous areas, would find new elements advancing the plot and gameplay.
In addition to the normal game mode, BioShock Infinite will include a "1999 Mode", so named for the release year of System Shock 2, a game worked on by Levine and several other Irrational Games developers. 1999 Mode is a more challenging version of the game, requiring the player to make mutually exclusive specialization choices, such as choosing which weapon type that Booker is proficient at, which may make later parts of the game difficult to complete, and may require the player to reload from earlier saved games to manage their resources better.
That's all for today, thanks for viewing, bye .

The birth of the first Venom

Edward Brock was originally a rival photographer of Peter Parker's at the Daily BugleSince his debut, Eddie has treaded the line between hero and villain, sometimes working to destroy Spider-Man, other times working with him.
He is currently alive and as of Venom, he is the currrent host to the Toxin symbiote.
At the time of his job at the Daily Bugle, he idolizes Spider-man (Not knowing that he and Peter are one in the same), who breaks his cameras frequently to prevent Brock from stealing his pay check. Eddie, having lost his job (to Peter), wife, and apartment, is beginning to have thoughts of suicide at a empty church.

Disgusted with the person the Venom symbiote is turning him into, Spider-Man goes to the top of the bell tower of a church and uses the sonic vibrations from the bell to remove the symbiote. Unknown to Peter at the time, Eddie Brock was in that very same church and the Symbiote Later bonded with Eddie Brock due to sensing his anger at Spiderman and Peter Parker. Peter later found that since the symbiote was previously bonded with him, that his Spider-Sense no longer registered it as a threat. Peter has succeeded many times in separating Eddie from the Symbiote, once even sending it to the far reaches of outer space, but eventually, it always finds its way back to him.
